This was a video project for the Cobscook Experiential Program, an experiential option for Washington County high school students located at the CCLC in Trescott, ME.
I travelled with the Machias River Wigwams Program in the summer of 2016 to capture everyday activities through photography and film.
The Machias River Wigwams Program is a two week summer experience for teens interested in outdoor careers. Teens are part of a co-ed youth crew, camping out at the Wigwams Rapid on the Machias River and working with professionals doing trail work and salmon habitat restoration.
This was a mixed-media promotional display created for the Cobscook Community Learning Center. It was created using clay slabs, with sgraffito on each panel showing the four seasons. The displays are controlled with a Raspberry Pi, and loop videos and slideshows about the CCLC. Artwork was a collaboration with Mandy Skinner from the CCLC.
This is an ongoing video series showcasing the unique stories of small businesses, artists and entrepreneurs in Downeast Maine. Several videos will be added to the series in 2017, stay tuned!
